Terms of Service

The rules for using this website, in plain language.

Last updated: August 13, 2026

Agreement

These terms apply to https://myiicf.com, operated by Independence Inc. of Central Florida. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

This site is not for emergencies

Do not use this website to report an emergency. Our forms are read during business hours and may take a day or more to reach the right person.

  • If someone is in immediate danger, call 911.
  • For a mental health or suicide crisis, call or text 988.
  • To report suspected abuse, neglect, or exploitation of a vulnerable adult or a child in Florida, call the Florida Abuse Hotline at 1-800-962-2873.

Information, not advice

The content here describes the services we offer and general information about disability supports in Florida. It is not medical, clinical, legal, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for talking to your physician, your support coordinator, or your own professional advisers.

We work to keep the site accurate, but program rules, eligibility criteria, and waiver requirements change. Confirm anything that matters to your situation with us or with the agency that administers the program.

Submitting a request does not create a service relationship

Sending a form, calling us, or emailing us starts a conversation. It does not enroll you in services and does not guarantee that we can serve you.

Services depend on eligibility through the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Florida Community Care, or another payer, on authorization for the specific service, on our capacity at the time, and on the area being one we serve. A service relationship begins only when we say so in writing and the required agreements and authorizations are in place.

What you submit

By submitting a form, you confirm that:

  • The information you give us is accurate to your knowledge.
  • If you are submitting on behalf of another person, you have the authority to share their information with us, whether as a family member acting at their request, a legal guardian, or an authorized representative.
  • You are not sending medical records, evaluations, or copies of identification through the site. See the Privacy Policy for why.

Job applications

Applying through the careers page is an expression of interest. It is not an application for a specific offer of employment, and it does not create a contract of employment. Employment with us is at-will, and hiring depends on background screening required for Florida disability services providers, including Level 2 screening under Chapter 435, Florida Statutes.

We consider every applicant without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by federal or Florida law.

Acceptable use

When using this site, please do not:

  • Submit false information, impersonate another person, or use the forms to send unsolicited commercial messages.
  • Attempt to gain access to any part of the site, our systems, or the employee intranet that is not open to you.
  • Scrape, copy, or republish the site’s content for a commercial purpose without our written permission.
  • Interfere with the site’s operation, or use it in a way that breaks the law.

Our content

The text, layout, photography, logo, and design of this site belong to Independence Inc. of Central Florida or to our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may read, print, and share pages for your own personal or non-commercial use. Everything else needs our permission.

Program names such as iBudget Florida, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, and Florida Community Care belong to those organizations. We reference them to say which programs we accept, not to claim any affiliation beyond being an enrolled provider.

Links and third-party services

This site links to other organizations and to Microsoft-hosted services, including our client forms and the employee intranet. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is governed by their terms, not ours.

Availability

We aim to keep the site up and working, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of it at any time.

Disclaimers and limits

The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent Florida law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement as they apply to your use of this website.

To the fullest extent Florida law allows, Independence Inc. of Central Florida is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibilities as a licensed provider to the people we serve, limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, or affects your rights under your service agreements with us.

Accessibility

We build this site to be usable by people with disabilities, which is the whole point of our work. If something here is difficult to use, tell us and we will fix it and help you another way in the meantime. Details are in our Accessibility Statement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Polk County, Florida.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
