Everyday help, on your terms

Personal Supports

Personal Supports is help with the ordinary things that make a day work. A support professional works alongside the person, following their lead rather than taking over. They do as much for themselves as they can and get a hand with the rest. Some people need a couple of hours in the morning. Others need someone there most of the day. We build the schedule around what is actually needed.

A support professional hands a woman a bottle of juice as they put away groceries in her living room.

What this support can include

  • Getting dressed, bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Cooking meals and help at mealtimes
  • Keeping the house safe and manageable, including the heavier jobs
  • Non-medical care and supervision through the day
  • Rides and company for errands, appointments, and community activities

This might be a good fit if…

  • An adult who needs a hand with morning and evening routines
  • Someone who wants to stay in their own home and stay safe doing it
  • A person who wants to get to appointments, work, or things they enjoy
